They spent a fortune on it last year. It was OK when they got it, but a little tired. It goes like stink too!
couple of the lads i went with want a little project to do but picking up the parts on some older stuff must be bloody expensive.
question. does this one work, cause i’ve seen it many a time going up and down the m40 with logs on the back of it?

Yes it does lives around wellsbourne area
Great line up yesterday and a few I’d not seen before. Bit expensive at £14 per adult and the cafe staff should dress up like ■■■■ Turpin. I’d seen it all in 2.5 hours, not many trade stands except for a few model vendors and an expensive tat merchant from Holland.
I suppose if I’d joined the queue to sit in the new FH I’dve made a day of it.

Thats awesome, just the fact it still works.
I was chatting to the owner and I commented how it was handy to get a load in the area at the time of the show etc. He replied with the fact that he arranges it, just so he can be there with a full load Total respect to him. One of the driest old sticks I have ever encountered…Bloody good laugh and a wicked ■■■■ taker

How many of us could honestly do our regular job in a 40 year old lorry?
As much as I love Fodens, I don’t think I could drive an S39 day in day out…
I’ll give it a go though.

i think you’ve just answered your own question mate!
The museum there shows that for all the great classics like the E type Jag, Aston Martin etc, we Brits made some real turds on wheels; The 9x (concept to replace the Mini). The last Rover to be built (a 75 that was hand finished because the machinery was snatched back) and some Austin Maxi rally car (someone had a sick sense of humour with that).
If you’ve got the time it’s very entertaining but the cinema bits will put you to sleep.
Some more
Credit to the owner of that Spanish Dodge; Weren’t they total rust buckets?
This looks brilliant
