Archie Paice:
I went yesterday (Sunday) it turned out to be a really good day. This was the first time that I’ve ever bothered to go to one of these things. I went initially because an old friend messaged me he was going. Well I met loads of old and new friends and wound up having a Super day out. Thank you to Kenny Ward and his Wife Susan, David Miller, Freddie (Oven Ready ) and his Wife, Dave Bowers, Ashley Coghill, Jamie (M&C), Roland Ward, Andy Maclean, Robert Hackford, Micky Dunstan, and anybody else that I bumped into as well it have not mentioned. It was well worth the time and effort, a day well spent.
Enjoyed your company old mate! Robert
Thank you Robert, likewise, I shall definitely go again if it’s there.
What a lovely show! So many gorgeous trucks and everybody so friendly. All the owners desperate to share their experiences and so proud of their immaculate motors.
One other thing, the staff at the museum were so friendly. Smiles and helpfulness all round. Even helping people to make the tea at the automats!
Well done to the organisers.
Let’s hope that Ashley organises a Middle East meet next year!
Thanks for the positive comments, The Steelboys and Gaydon (Tom C) and all behind the scenes thought it was a good show, and a BIG Thanks to all who brought their trucks and those who attended over the weekend, the sun even came out on the Sunday
We are in conversation with Ash re what we could do for 2016, so wil update as we are able to confirm anything in that regard, but early days.
the show will be 10th and 11th September 2016, so get it in the diary!
We raised a few quid along the way for Hope for Tommorrow and the Daisey Chain charity, so again thanks to all, and those we bought in the auction on Saturday evening
Isn’t it a shame there are so few wagons like this big Scanny around now . 1 off’s specced/built/adapted to do a particular job! Don’t know Nick Bull but like a lot I have seen pics of his creations when he was (maybe still is?) doing Middle-East work, & his engineering skills/imagination have to be admired! The F12 was a rare beast at a UK Show, possibly ex-Pekaes (spelling), think they were from Warsaw, Poland? Regards Chris
David Miller:

Really good day out as always made so much better by meeting up with old friends.
David
Hullo David ,
Thank you, it was a real pleasure to see you too, it was a super day altogether. I look forward to the next year and hope we can all meet up again.
