Hi all brilliant show and what a tribute to the trucking industry, brilliant !!
My Favorits!

This old Scammell look at home with all these yanks !

Regards Jimski

Agree with you 100% the venue and the trucks were great but what made the show was the attitude of those taking part. there was no snobbishness , and those owning the “shiney’s” were as appreciative of those that turned up in “original” , and the other way round… I did manage to catch a certain T/Net member unawares, as I am sure Pete259 will admit too…   over the day there were perhaps 20+ T/Net members that either I knew or who came up and introduced themselves.

While I cant talk for the company, I believe I can say that our managing director was there all day and thought the show was brilliant and was more than pleased that we lent our name in sponsorship to it. It is a show that we should keep our eye on and hopefully T&D and the organisers can work together to keep it going and grow.

just like to thank all the team who put this show together havent been to truck show in over 10 yrs .just to say thanks had a great weekend thanks again martyn (sammy dog )

Hi all, what a fantastic show,
the work and effort put in by all the organisers made it a brilliant show. You must be very proud of yourselfs. I was walking around all day talking to people, everybody was just so friendly and I learned a lot.

I must say a big thank you to the boys who stopped and stayed with me when I had a double blow out on my trailer on the m42 - m5 split coming home. Old fashioned comradary. Peter from Bristol, Andrew [Tetris] and Martyn [sammydog]from Bridgend, Daiecho and the konkers family and last but not least Neil [mechanic77] who has done so much for the welsh boys thread and me personally, your all a credit and im sure Andrew [Pete359] will agree .

Regards and thank you all, Rowland. ps. happy birthday mechanic77 for tomorow.

At TruckFest we operate a hospiltality area , nothing flash, just somewhere exclusive to sit, get a free cup of tea/coffee, take a break and a focal point for members to meet up, it seems to work at the larger shows is it something you guys would want at other shows?

Now we are independant you may have noticed we are looking at attending/supporting such events, but we dont have oodles of cash to spend, would a little thing like a sit down/relax area for members be what you want? because we could probably do that quite cheaply. Give us your ideas on what you would like us to provide for you at these sort of shows and we will seriously look at what we can do, no promises except we will seriously take on board what you say

A massive thank you to the Steel Boys and everybody else involved with putting on a fantastic weekend, thoroughly enjoyed myself. And i must say a big thankyou to fellow show goers and the compliments they gave me on my EC11, as you can imagine, its a labour of love keeping that old girl ‘Tip-Top’ carrying FATS, LIQUOR, WASTE OIL, SLUDGE and RAW - SEWERAGE everyday, so was nice to know that it does not go un-noticed and it is appriciated others!

Straight Eight, I didn’t get chance to speak to you at the show but did see the truck. Very good and added to the variety on display.
