I cant believe some of the stuff drivers worry about.
Bloody sure im not spending my day fretting if the box on the dash is telling me im driving “correctly” or not.
Any engine with a electric throttle the pedal position goes to the computer which in turn determines the engine rpm to the selected gear to meet the requirements of the programme, mine was bought by the boss and came with what they wanted (kick down was to be disabled at the first service) shame. Depends on the conditions as to whether it’s the throttle or resume button I use. It’s never spun a wheel by using the button but spins up easily with the pedal.
