Are there any vodaphone users here that have had there content control bar removed as it’s doing my head in, most of the pictures on here are on iphotobucket which i can’t access, a link would be good, been to there website but all i can find is how to remove content control from my phone, as i don’t have internet access on my phone, not a lot of use…
Phone Vodafone Customer Services up or email their eforum bods.
I’m on T-Mobile, couldn’t view Facebook pages (FFS). I can’t get the content lock off (no credit card), I’d have to use ID in a T-Mobile shop (went one, no acceptable ID with me, haven’t looked under 18 since I was about 16), which is a bunch of nonsense when you’ve been ON CONTRACT for about 7 years and sign off credit agreements for the billing.
Vodafone Mobile Broadband help:
- By calling Customer Services (Pay as you talk customers will need to use your credit card as proof of age)
- By using the “My Vodafone” service on www.vodafone.co.uk (Pay as you talk customers will need to use your credit card as proof of age)
- By using the “My Vodafone” service on Vodafone live! (Pay as you talk customers will need to use your credit card as proof of age)
- By visiting a Vodafone retail store - Vodafone customers only)

All any of the above do is show and tell you how to remove content control from your mobile phone as knowone at vodafone seems to realise that mobile internet and mobile broadband are two completely sepperate things
Soughted it, what you have to do is go through five stages
(1) ring 17298 on you vodafone phone
if you don’t have one of them hard luck.
(2)they will then tell you this is the wrong department and transfer you somewhere else.
(3) wait five minutes
(4) then get told this is also the wrong department and get transferred again.
(5) they will then ask you for your broadband reg no, (would have been given to you during the sale of your dongle, very similar to a mobile phone no)
they will then enter this into their system and you will then continue surfing while there widget hunts down your pc, usually takes up to 2 hrs.
Why they can’t supply you with a link on their website is beyond mortals such as me.
