I did a sixth day, Saturday 5th Oct until 2 pm. I ''ASSUME ‘’ my weekly rest must be completed by 11.59 pm on a sundays[EVEN THOUGH I WAS ACTUALLY ON REST UNTIL 6 AM monday morning} so that week I only had 34 hour rest { OR WAS IT 40 ASSUMING 6 AM MONDAY START} so therefore i owe 11 hours compensation{OR IS IT 5}…If you get me? Basically does the rest period end at 11.59 pm sunday or is that just the working week, if so can the rest straddle midnight on sunday?

Does anyone know, can rest straddle midnight on sundays or must weekly rest be taken before Midnight. perhaps i am reading too much into this, the more i look at the rules the more complicated they become

New working week don’t start till you put card in at x hours on your next working day after rest days

You owe 5 hours mate. Forget the midnight Sunday bit, your 45 hours rest would have been completed in full by 11 am Monday but you started 5 hours earlier at 6am.
Your weekly rest period runs from start to finish, it doesn’t end at midnight Sunday.
You need to compensate by adding five hours to any rest period in the next three fixed weeks, so a 14 hour overnight stop (9+5) would be enough.
Just looking at fines sheet , looks like £1237 there alone
