Should there be a lined route ceremony?

Thoughts to the families this Christmas

some of that is quite shocking, i mean they gave up their lifes for this country and they still get stuck in traffic

they should be escorted to the coroner, i mean ministers gte police escorts about so why cant these men who have done a ■■■■ sight more for this country than the ministers themselves have done.

If I had the opportunity to hold traffic back to allow smooth passage, then yes I would do it. After all, the poor buggers dont get any respect , alive or dead, from this government.

As for lined routes, I think that is possibly a little OTT for this country.

Thanks for highlighting this issue, and would like to agree that the way this country treats the very people who who have given everything in service of the crown is an absolute disgrace.

Personally if whenever I see any funeral cortège I try to make sure the whole congregation is allowed to pass, simply as a mark of respect for the deceased
and I would like to see a greater emphasis placed on respecting the 2 minute silence on November 11th each year.

The people of this country and the Government that leads them should be ashamed at the way our soldiers, whether still serving, retired, lost or injured in service are treated.

:frowning: :frowning:

This country is rubish,
we give terrorist suspects a better ■■■■■■.

Next time the army should ■■■■■■ them with tanks,
if the police or goverment complain
just drive over the pigs.

Just sat and watched the “Millies” award ceremony on Sky this evening, spent a lot of the programme crying.
Then to se our beloved leader presenting one of the awards nearly made me throw up.
Every single one of our Forces personnel are people to be so proud of, and should be given every possible respect, alive or dead.

As for the people of Wooten Bassett, shouldn’t they have been given a Millie as well, for their huge respect given our war dead. I bow my head to each and every one of them.

Amen. I cried too, and I’m crying now as I type. It is because of our great Military that we are free to say what we want, go where we want and do what we want. They die for our freedom… Heroes, every last one of 'em.

I heard about Because the RAF did a march past in the town to show thier gratitude. It’s genuine respect from grass roots of this Country.

When the Dragoons returned to base at Swanton Morley, they marched through Dereham. The route was lined with thousands, Men, Women and Children who’s taken time off work or school to show thier respect to the Soldiers.
The same thing happened when the Royal Anglians marched through Norwich.

So the normal person in this Country does have and if willing to show genuine respect for our Forces. It’s just how they are treated by the system that seems to be the problem.

It is nice to see there are still some who will show respect to the fallen.

But when o when will politicians stop seeing the military as an embarrassment. :imp:

They would rather pay homage to scroungers, wasters, criminals and scum. :imp:
