Repeat offenders

How many strikes do the authorities give you before your banned from driving say you overloading 3 times in the past 2 years would that be a ban or is it 5/10 times in 2-3 years?

Well, you were getting some sympathy in your other post, but now it’s time to come clean…

Are you:

A driving a 3.5 ton rated curtainsided van, on East Euro plates, to get around the tacho and WTD rules?

Or…

Are you doing car transport work, on the cheap?

Either way, good luck.

Just an idea…

Have you ever thought of doing the job legit?

I have no idea how many strikes one gets before being banned but, I’m confident it’s way less than 5/10.

You’re not trying hard enough, one good one will do the trick if a ban is what you’re after: Try being more than 20% overloaded, you’ll get a TE160 prohibition with a potential £5000 fine, plus the bonus plan of a guaranteed PI for the operator and a Driver Conduct Hearing for yourself, definitely get a temporary suspension of your HGV entitlement for that.

He doesn’t have an HGV. Maybe a C+E, but I doubt it…

None if it’s bad enough. You can get banned on your first offence. Why do you continue to do it, there’s absolutely no need to especially 2.7 tonnes overweight on a 3.5 tonner, that must’ve been on its knees and clearly obvious it was overweight.

Getting caught 78% overweight don’t think that it’s all over with now the police have done with you. Chances are it’s going to be forwarded to the Traffic Commissioner for them to decide how to deal with you.

What a pillock.

Jeseus wept, and there’s some of us doing all we can to make sure all axles are well within limits and as well loaded and secured as possible for the best handling and stability etc we can manage, this bod must stick out like a sore thumb, presumably DVSA vehicles have number plate recognition, his reg must cause air raid alarms to go off inside the DVSA Galaxy :unamused:

Don’t drop the soap in the showers mate :open_mouth:

presumably DVSA vehicles have number plate recognition,

Someone posted something recently saying DVSA have their own ANPR system separate to the Police. I don’t know for sure how accurate that is, but if OP is real, he needs both sets of ANPR all over him like a cheap coat every time he steps into his vehicle.
