Idiot question: (or, question from an idiot - whichever you prefer) Does the current legal extension also apply to the Optical part of the medical?
I’m assuming ‘Yes’ but don’t want to go through the hassle of sending everything back just to find that the A- holes at DVLA complain and reject my application.
Can’t do that any more - unless someone can show me definitive evidence, which I’ve looked for recently but could not find: that was just for the first lockdown; same with the MOT extensions.
There’s no problem getting a medical these days. If you’re anywhere near the north east I can tell you where you can get one done for £45
I’ve just booked my medical for Friday in Middlesbrough.
I believe the extension doesn’t count anymore as the previous poster said, no problem getting medicals now.
