Intenational truck of the year is Renault T Range …2015 …I wonder what the views are on this ,warranted or not …I reckon most would go for the Merc …

Back in the late 80’s I done my apprenticeship at a Renault truck garage, hated the bloody things then and still hate them now.
Onion eating tossers cant put a decent reliable car together so I doubt the trucks would be much different!
I moan about the Merc I drive but I’d rather stuff wasps up my arse than driver anything French!

Renault trucks have changed a lot since the 80’s

Ah but some people have long memories Denis. My old Grandpa would rather eat his own liver than buy anything Japanese!
Nothing to do with any wartime experience however as he was a fully committed coward, he did though once watch The Bridge Over The River Kwai which put him off the slippery little critters!
All are Mercs have gone now… and we have around a dozen T Ranges at the minute, with more to come… I’m on my second one in 8 months… and they get better

They don’t look as bad when they’re painted in darker colours to be honest. Don’t think I’d like one though.

This (I drive one). The interior I think is great and a fair few of the drivers aids are actually useful but when I get out I keep my eyes down until out of sight.
All saying though - Great to use, shame about the looks like a lot of women I may or may not have met. (Oh hello dear didn’t see you over my shoulder…)
