Renault Sweeper Instructions?

Doe sanyone have an instruction manual for one of these or have any idea where i can get instructions?.

We ot one at work and there was a couple of us trying to work out what does what, we got it going and managed to get most things working ok but the boss would just like a proper maunal or some more instructions.

Who makes the sweeper conversion?

Renault most likely only make the truck.

Jammymutt then get your boss to ask either the firm which supplied
the sweeperbody, or the bodybuilder who mated it all together,
all it will cost is a letter with all known details of the vehicle and
the sweeper unit type, and then just wait for the booklet and bill
to come in the post,

Somebody paid for it and we got it delivered to us   all we know is it says Renault on the front and it has loads of lever all over the place, I have looked for other names but no joy we do know its called a Renault Lacre and may be ex military.

I dont know who or where it came from as i say we can get it working it would just be nice to get a manual to find out what the rest of the levers do.

Get in touch with one of the Military Surplus places, that sell off these vehicles then. chances are they will have a contact that can get you a manual.

TBH though i would have thought one sweeper was much the same as another. So try flagging down a road sweeper and asking for a talk through the controls.

Dennis im not bloody chasing road sweepers all day!!! but i have been in touch with someone who is trying toi get me one the guy who has the site the photo came from got me in touch with the guy, I just thoguth i would leave it up here in case someone has a manual in a drawer somewhere at home they dont use any more.

Hopefully ive got it sorted but any more help would be nice.

Yeah.

Just been looking through my drawers and I’ve got a stack of them and a manual for a petrol tanker and a tipper and a slurry tanker. :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue:

Excellent thats job done then can you post it to me.

Its always worth asking on here althoguh you do get some sarcastic ■■■■■■■ who wouldnt help anyone with anything, its to be expected I suppose.

I just wonder if anyone will ever need a Wartburg manual as i have one in the loft that one day someone might find a use for.

Assuming that the two ‘things’ above the roof are mirrors . . . . .

. . . . . it is ex-RAF and would have spent most of its life on FOD Prevention duties (sweeping runways - even when they don’t need it! :unamused: ).
