My boss tells me I am getting a 4x2 Premium brand new but its a “driver friendly cab” is there such a thing or are all premium cabs the same ?
Fine as a day motor and the odd night out but boardering on an insult if your expected to be out in it 5nights a week.
Luckily we don’t Av nights out , he just made me wonder if there is more than one cab desigh

Last company i was with had two, both were the big cab so you could stand up, had very good seat, a fridge , one had a leather steering whee, there not bad trucks really, easy to drive, comfy, decent radio etc.
Last one I drove was an 56 plate and that was new so that’s a few years ago and that was ok

56 plate probably had the Renault driveline. So if you thought that was ok, you should get on fine with your new one with it’s volvo derived driveline.

it did not do the off road capability’s any good
Was driving a 12 plate one last week…
Not bad motors just ■■■■ all storage space…annoying when you are doing 4 nights out a week!
Ok motor, excellent autobox, comfy-ish (better than Scanny for me) and a nightmare with electrics, false warnings about bulbs out etc…(definitely worse than Scanny!!)
Driven a few ranging from 58-60 plate. Overall, better than you’d think but I didn’t do nights out in them.
Just think yerself lucky it ain’t a Renault day cab.
Ford D series had more cab space… and a better instrument panel!
