Yes unfortunately,I have had to give up my 02 plate MAN,and take to the wheel of a 53 plate Renault Premium 6X2 420 DCI.It is a month old and has come from one of our other depots.
However.There in lies a problem.
When we got our first batch of unused motors, the drivers who got them, were supplied with a clipboard and a pen,(Whooppeee) and also an instruction CD Rom for their computers.I have borrowed the CD Rom off my mate,as,being slightly used,I didn’t get one with my motor.
Now.There are no loading instructions with the disk, and I would like to see what it contains, but can’t get it to load on my PC.
Have any of you guys had the same disk, and if so,what instructions are needed to load it?
Presuming you aint already done this: if its a Windows PC, just right click the start button, choose Explore find the D Drive or whatever the CD rom drive is with the disk in, and just browse the folders manually.
If its saying that there is likely a problem then Ken, Is the drive OK with a range of other CD’s, or is the renault one very dirty or scratched, thats normally the case. Otherwise exploring a disk should be a peice of cake.
It might be a DVD rom and yours is only CD?
But anyway, go to “My computer” find the cd drive, normally D, right click on it and choose the explore option.
However if it is a DVD rom you will need a DVD drive to access it.
Not heard from Chiltern yet,but Gurner has a point.I know my mate got a video with his truck, and I’m wondering if it could be a dvd that Renault have included if you have only got a dvd player?
