Anyone else think you might be better with 2 candles as opposed to the headlights on a Renault ?
Try a pair of Osram Truckstar uprated bulbs (obviously funded via expenses, persuade via the safety aspect), also are the beams set correctly, too often they are all over the place so precious light is being lost.

The screamingly…
Obvious but, I’m sure you’ve already checked is, the adjuster itself in the cab. I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve got into different motors to find the alignment switch pointed fully downwards for whatever reasons the previous sweaty had.

Have to agree the Renault dipped beam is useless. We got 3 at the place I work and they all the same, I switch on front fogs/driving lights and they are spot on then. See most other Renault drivers do the same. Not sure if its legal or not but never been flashed.
We have a Renault unit, and a craptros. Pulling milk tankers around on the night shift.
The Renault is not great on main beam, but very good on high beam .
The craptros is… well, crap by name…

Using front fog lights is not an acceptable (or legal) option to compensate for poor headlights.
Fog lights do not have their beam alignment checked on the MOT, therefore could be pointing directly towards oncoming traffic with their intense beam.
Police do issues fines for using front fog lights in clear conditions.
Rule 236
You MUST NOT use front or rear fog lights unless visibility is seriously reduced (see Rule 226) as they dazzle other road users and can obscure your brake lights. You MUST switch them off when visibility improves.

Main beam and high beam is the same thing !!
They’re good enough if it’s really dark (outside cities/motorways). Wait until you have to change a bulb on the n/s you haven’t seen anything yet :_)
