Driver ok…
Maybe…
it’d been wet at the time of the incident but he had slicks on.
Renault straight in there saying driver wasn’t doing a dodgy.
Judging by the state of the central reservation barrier shown in the second pic it appears he has crossed over to the opposite carriageway
Think he may have tried to clip the apex just a little too much. Gonna be an expensive insurance claim though.

If they are lucky the cars would have been in the trailer ,save them even more embarrassment come race day
They’ll have the safety car out till that’s cleared up

Don’t think there will be cars in that one. Its running on French plates. The cars themselves are run out of Enstone, so UK operator, UK trucks and UK plates. Probably part of the motorhome.
It looks like as the driver was heading for the ditch, they left some skid marks behind…

I wouldn’t leave skid marks…
I’d leave a whole new trail, with bricks and mortar [emoji15]

A mate of mine provides the vans for Red Bull, he passed the incident whilst en route to Budapest. He reckons paddock gossip has it as a medical incident that caused it. Having said that I reckon paddock gossip is no more reliable or factual than Trucknet gossip.
Probably thought that if Riccardo and Hulkenberg can have an off, then so can I.
Ken.

Don’t think it’s part of the motorhome, maybe the technical support truck for Renault engines, seen similar designs in the past for the Renault World series engine truck and the Cosworth truck.
Pleased to hear driver ok and nobody else involved, I’m sure the damage will polish out.
It wasn’t the drivers fault, it was team orders. The weather was changeable

Brilliant piece of team driving he managed to get it into the pits having only got the call after he’d passed the pit entry lane.
