My car is rated zero tax. Last month I ‘taxed’ it, paid nothing - received nothing.
Took me ages to get my head around that!

Only in Britain would this be possible!

Actually you ‘licensed’ it, rather than ‘taxed’ it.
I’ve got a Guinness label in my windscreen now.
I’m going to photoshop mine and put on it the expiry date, just like a real one.
Mine ran out last month, leaving it in the window, for some unexplained reason seems to make it go faster.

If you forgot to renew it could you get done for it ? Serious question because how could you get fined for not having something that costs nothing anyway …
^^^ yes you can still get done, for failing to renew

I’ve got all my Dads tax discs and o licence discs going back to his 3 rd lorry in 1973 up to 2005 ,the amount of tax comes to a bloody fortune !
I’ve heard that if you’ve got old Tax Discs in your possession, your supposed to contact the Tax Man & 'Fess Up the amount, then send them a cheque to that value.
(Alternatively you could make the cheque out to Viking Industries)

Found my old disc from the 70’s …
That looks like mine from last month
