Its actually 5 containers plus space which means you can leave your blankets on when you have 5 containers. It also means you can fit about an extra 200 c/f with 5 containers. Handy for when you have items too big to fit in containers!

I was hoping to but I really canā€™t see that I will have time. We were asked to show the truck but at the moment I canā€™t spare it. I think I will leave it till nearer the time before making a decision.

Out of interest do you guys still pack a van by hand,loose loaded, in tiers, or is it all left in the storage boxes (we used to call them lift vans!!) when you deliver uk or abroad??

The only time we load into containers or lift vans is if it coming in to store. If its going direct or into Europe it loose loaded by hand etc. We have had some customers who specifically request that containers from storage that are destined for Europe are delivered in containers. To us, this isnā€™t a problem as long as they are prepared to pay for it. 5 containers is 1250 cubic feet, loose loaded the truck holds 2200 cubic feet, so you can see the difference.

Not only that, you roll up at customs with 5 sealed big wooden boxes on board and they take a strange liking to what is inside!! :smiley: :smiley:

Thanks for that, we are quite pleased with the new one. Yes, still got the older ones and they are still going strong. Call down one saturday morning, Iā€™ll make you a coffee!!! I must admit schepens one is nice, just needs the sleeper rather than a day cab. Hows life with transam? Bit of a difference than Pauls lot isnā€™t it :smiley:

Didnā€™t know that at all, whats Paul up to now? We have been quite busy so far this year, a lot better than we thought it was going to be. Money is still rubbish, too many idiots not charging the right price, but no matter who I talk to everyone says the same so its an industry problem as opposed to a geographic problem. Iā€™ll be around tomorrow from about 09.30 till 11.00. Got some trailers to shunt round the yard etc but also have been lumbered with MOTā€™ing the wifes car!! The kettle will be warm between these times :smiley: :smiley:
