Well considering what you’ve posted recently that’s no great surprise.
Played with my Brass Band through it’s home town for the parade and service. Big crowd turnout which was nice to see.
Went to our local memorial garden, good turnout for the parade. Usually have a few beers in the club afterwards but was starting work at 2300 so not a good idea.

You should of just looked at the date in your truck. It’s normally in a red box above the passenger window or on the sun visor.
Pulled in a layby on a1. Shame people only make the effort once a year.

We went to Thiepval where there is over 70,000 names of soldiers missing in action and its incredible seeing all those names.70,000 MISSING
Yeah missing 
Records show they went there to fight but never returned and bodies either not found or were unable to be identified, just google it. I’ve got some photos but can’t upload them here for some reason.
Sat in the cab in the yard for 2 minutes.

“Green brigade”?reason why problem is with poppy it remembers all british soldiers.Same soldiers that killed innocent civilians in likes of derry bloody sunday, and 11 in ballymurphy in belfast in 1971 where priest also was murderd.
These is reason why likes of a footballer for sunderland james mc clean is from derry refused to where the poppy.its just people with there own views i guess, i myself wouldnt wear one though i wouldnt have any problem with anybody wearing one.each to there own i say.

Killing innocent, off duty soldiers and someone’s wife " by mistake " IT’S CALLED LIFE PAL, as you said each to their own! Me personally as an ex RSM of parachute regiment just went and remembered friends who never came home from 1979 warrenpoint, Falklands 1982 AND many tours of NORN IRON, irish rover welcome to the site by the way! Things happen for a reason and I don’t have any regrets, YOU WIN SOME, YOU LOSE SOME! McClean is well within his right to refuse, he’s not from DERRY as there’s no such place! Look on the map it’s LONDONDERRY! I like the Bogside, creggan and rosemount many tours up there its a shame when young lads get caught in the violence, whether they’re PIRA, OIRA OR UDA, UVF, UFF OR RED HAND COMMANDOS! HATRED = BIGOTS!

It’s a bit more complicated than that and if something is wrong then it’s wrong it doesn’t matter which side did it.Although the idea of coded telephone warnings and not hijacking airliners to fly into cities seems to show that there was some good even even in the worst of the wrongs done by the ‘other’ side.
