6 months in mate and no problems,the bloke did say if there is a slight weak point on the intercooler it will find it and make it worse at a quicker rate
so on the 430 turbo there cant be an actuator fitted?? on the 480 there is an actuator which is set to 1.5bar and as soon as the turbo generates more than that it opens and lets the excess pressure down the exhaust pipe, put a pair of mole grips on the supply pipe to it and you’ll see nearly 2 bar on a hard pull, but its not really recomended blocking this pipe off - i only did it to try and diagnose why i was only getting 1 bar after pressure testing the intercooler. this is what i dont understand with these guys that chip trucks, they turn up and alter the setting in the computer but dont touch the mechanicals■■? the only people i would ever let remap my truck is feather diesel at elland as it would be done on the rolling road and the power curve would be bang on - as they told me, you cant get that with an off the shelf remap.
however, after witnessing my mate spending 12k or more on his volvo engine after it went from 460 to 550 and then went bang, i’m not sure its all worth it…

seen as ‘crap’ 
scania 420’s can catch u up on hills at the same weight id say it deffo needs something not sure if a remap or a scrapyard is the answer tho

the mighty scanias out doing a down hill kettle boiling clap trap but then again it does say UP HILL… thats the daf crap foooooooooooooked to start with even with a full engine of water and no steam… SPANKY you have been HAD get them hands up !!! no excuses none at all you have been named and shamed
