About to leave the armed forces very soon
And wanted to move my family to the south west
Considering most of the work is in an around bristol
I’ve focused on moving my family there.
Rang around a few agency’s who are desperate for drivers so work hopefully won’t be hard to find
Have plenty of class two and ADR exp
But not so much class one
Could do with a refresher and I’m trying to arrange one ATM but funds are limited with saving for deposit and move etc
Looking to move for personnel reasons
So anyone know any half decent areas around bristol
I have two young nippers and another on the way
So schools is a priority
What’s Newport like housing is much cheaper
I can’t afford to tbuy ATM no pension as such

Plenty of work around Avonmouth. Tesco, COOP, Asda’s, Morrisons at Bridgewater. Also loads of general haulage etc.
a lot of agency’s will pay the bridge toll for you if you move to Wales.
Not sure of housing, live near Swindon myself ( 45mins from Avonmouth)

My idea is to work for Arla foods on milk tankers.They are moving from Frome to Westbury and the agency is Bailey employment services in Melksham or Skills Direst in Frome.
