Often wondered lately how it is you can be sat hours waiting to tip at an asda depot and one of boroughbridges “finest” rocks up and gets tipped almost immediately. Turns out every truck they send in they pay £50 to have prioritised no wonder the rates they pay to subbies are peanuts we’re all subsidising there quick turnarounds.
Ha ha well they’re pay our demurage as we charge after the first hour now
Sat at Asda Skem the other day had 12 pallets on. Decker rocks up from Bbridge 40 mins after my arrival jumps on the bay & promptly tipped before they even stick the ramp on my trailer. I go & inquire as to why the decker was tipped before me & was told “RB have priority @ all Asda sites. Don’t stress tho he said. We will tip you after break”. 3.5 hrs later i was released. Just what a OD needs. Once tipped the RB driver then parked opposite the bays & assumed the horizontal position on cab bunk.
its a cruel world. & I won’t shop at Asda or holiday in Yorkshire!!!

Think the pay rise was around Aug / Sept 
Still can’t understand why trampers are on less … particularly as they have to swap trucks ( think only a few “blue-eyed” boys get an allocated truck ) … I would want extra for being messed about like that

I bet the trucks are in a right state inside with stuff damaged, rubbish everywhere etc. at least if one driver was allocated a unit to tramp in then they could keep on top of it cleaning wise and look after it better.
Another thing with not been allocated a unit is you’ll have to go around it with a fine tooth comb when checking it over because if you miss any damage it’ll come back to bite you on the arse if the next driver clocks it and reports it.
