Yep seen them all, parked up last weekend.

i seen a whole lot of different coloured lorries on the M8 today…

Does that count…

Give us a clue

If you look at the web address it seems to be James Irlam’s starting back up under a different name, I wonder if Stobart’s have their hand in this one?

I noticed the registered address is Chelford Lane. One of Stobarts main bases is in Chelford is it not??

yes it is but it was irlam’s yard long before stobart bought irlam’s out, do stobart only rent the yard of irlam’s?

I saw one Monday around 5pm on the M40 too

Reefers

pick up the pieces :unamused:

The one I saw was a curtain sider

Seen quite a few curtain siders of theirs

They say ‘Part of the Irlam family’ or similar on the back

Probably just reached the end of what ever restraints Stobarts would have placed on them when they bought the business, so now nothing to stop them setting up again in competition with Eddie.

Well David irlham pulled out of stobart last April I did read
Good old irlham. My old man would love to work for them again. One of the best companies he had worked for. Good kit and decent jobs.

I too would work for them again used to drive and work the office in Normanton when required. Great lorries but some of the trailers usually the 700 series with the lined curtains left alot to be desired as did the trailer with the ‘IRLAMS ARE PROUD TO SPONSOR MACCLESFIELD TOWN’ on LOL

Tongue twister time…Red Lorry…Yellow Lorry…just say it as fast as you can. :unamused:

I am one of those Red Lorry drivers & can confirm there is an Irlam involved.

Best of luck mate, work hard for few years and I am sure the company will shine as it did before. Can’t wait to see it.

David and his brother are listed as Directors of the new firm, and no mention of still been a director of the “fast eddie” outfit either! Bewick. :sunglasses: :sunglasses: :sunglasses: :sunglasses:
