What’s it like, Cost? Facilities? Worth the money?
If it is any good you may wonder why all the trucks park on the sliproads in and out unless it’s just to cut costs ?
Used to stay there a lot few years ago. Truck park was like driving on the moon hence why they park on the slip roads.
Think they had showers and cost was about average.
Food was fairly good, remember getting the mixed grill and thinking how the hell am I going to eat all that lot.
It’s excellent now ,the only down side is the lorry park not finished yet so yes some big craters !
Good choice of food,from Indian to steak or whatever specials are on the menu.
Friendly staff, bar and good showers.
If you are not parked up on a week day by five pm, you will not get a space.
The owner is trying to make the parking area larger but the two neighbours want silly money to sell the land.
The slip road is free to park.
Parking on the slip road there is not always the best thing to do unless you have a spare cab ready !! It’s definatly cheaper to pay .
