A mate of mine in work got a ticket for going through a red light in Manchester, and i was wondering how this kind of thing fairs out… What i mean is, if you have a 44 ft trailer and your in pretty slow but steady traffic and the light changes when your half way through, how does that work… I was thinking they must look at the picture and take it from the unit and not the trailer… Just to add to it, it took almost 2 months for him to recieve the penalty though they said it was sent to the company he drives for in time… which i think is 14 days… They also never sent him a picture so i told him to ask for one… they said they never sent one but they have one… They also said there giving him 6 points, surly this should be 3 points…
Just wondering your opinion on this…
