Anybody know the reason why the red Merc Actros has been lying “unloved”@ Todds Hill DVSA compound for over a month now■■?
Must be a fairly fresh model as has the mirror cameras!!!

The driver was stopped at Beattock heading south and found to have no license. The company sent another driver to get the truck but then he got out and the original driver took over again, so they stopped him at Todhills. He’ll be waiting for another driver to turn up and the fine to be paid.
Because it’s missing the side mirrors. Can’t drive around with no mirrors

If it’s East Euro they’ll maybe just write it off and leave it,.wasn’t there one down at cambridge a few years ago where that happened, they were going to fly a driver out,.then the firm went bust.
If they were using a non licenced driver, they obviously ain’t a legit outfit.

Some are brave. How do you get this far without a licence. The company boss must be jailed.

Don’t get stopped. There’s no licence checks at the border when you come into the UK. In some countries at best the boss will get a slap on the wrist fine worth paying.

Todhills related, thought it was closed yesterday, saw one of De Rooys heading north near Cairn Loge, another at Lockerbie, but Todhills was just closing closing when i got down there, gate closed but cars still in there, but De Rooys had got past.
Red Actross still parked.
You’d have to be ■■■■■■■ unlucky to get pulled in this dump.
