Not yet made contact .
Worked for them for 5 years now.
They’ve put bread on my table and continue to do so even though I chop and change plans on a regular basis.
Steven, Orla, Helen & Kirsty do genuinely appear to care about their drivers and work well with me, so I have no issue with them at all.

Not my exp of them.mine was offers of crap money for crap shifts and they got annoyed when i didnt grab with both hands
If this is the one in Falkirk then its another one to swerve. I drove 20 miles to register, the first “job” they gave me was an assessment at Asda Grangemouth which was then cancelled, then again as i was pulling into the Asda car park,i told them Asda can shove it and never heard from RD again despite me calling…they bleated on about how busy they are blah blah too, just another agency in a long line of shysters!!
Well I have to disagree, My most recent assignments have been £12 an hour plus night out money.
They don’t have the ASDA contract anymore and ASDA would always cancel on them and that was my regular haunt.
Like I said, they’ve put bread on my table for the past 5 years and continue to do so.
As with any agency…
If you are willing to drop everything at short notice in the beginning then you will go far with them.
Start to turn work down or ask for more money (cutting into their profits) and you can be sure you’ll be the last person they will call.
As for getting cancelled last minute, just don’t answer the phone once you’ve left the house.
Unless its an unpaid assessment, claim your pay you are owed even if they cancel on you. You are contracted to do a job and they are liable for the wages as soon as you turn up
As with agencies they either like you or they dont, they have their favourites like all agencies so if you are a yes man you will be fine…if you have an opinion then you are last on the call list… Like i said i didnt even get a chance with them, all i got was 2 failed assessments and 20 quid out of pocket for petrol
Never worked for them myself, but I’ve found the trick is to be reliable, polite and up front. I’ve never had any run ins with agencies and have always had work when I’ve requested it. Some of the posts I see about agencies strike me as people being bitter or trying to call the shots to agencies and falling their hind end. The stone that makes the loudest splash and makes the biggest ripples will also drown the fastest…
for me i deal with drivers who are restricted in where/what they want and i will always say the same thing that yes i can get work but when there isnt a shift that starts at 0457am exactly then there is no work.
assessments get cancelled as do shifts occasionally ( twice is a bit harsh and they should have paid something IMO).
as a driver working on agency i have only fallen out with a few and wont work for them again, lets face it there are enough out their, having said that i always get work when i am free.
i have to admit a lot of agency guys restrict themselves too much as recruitment is a reactive game and is nothign to do with being a yes man more someone who wants to work ( i have a lot of 'its 20miles away are you paying petrol?) i dont get paid to travel to work why should you?

By that do you mean that you personally failed two assessments, or do you mean you turned up twice to do an assessment and both times they were cancelled with no prior notice?

I find that if you have an opinion that you can substantiate you are treated with respect - as opposed to the usual muppet who is just opinionated.
