Recovery Operators Who Don’t Mess About

These Hydra cranes they’re fond of in India look basic but pretty impressive capabilities.

If you’ve driven your truck off an overpass you wouldn’t be back on the road in under 4 mins here

No H&S assessement…

No cones, no incident control unit just hook her up and go for it.

Most of the time it works and some of the time it don’t youtube.com/watch?v=DIqzNjpcgtQ

Looks like a Ford Cargo to me.

I particularly liked the way they didn’t bother stopping the traffic to get the cranes in, they just hit reverse and went for it.

Imagine that job in this country, twenty four hour road closure at least.

I suggest you look up the word “edit” if you think that particular operation was completed inside four minutes…

I also looked up the word pedant though and it’s clearly the case it was a minutes job of some order.

Ashok Leyland (Indian) made Cargo

There’s no shortage of videos of these hydra cranes generally going over sideways but in a lot of videos they seem to just pull them back on their wheels largely undamaged and crack on. Quite impressive the amount of weight they lift and the versatility to drive about under load without the outriggers of a normal crane.

Look at the changing daylight/clouds during the course of the video. That operation took several hours.

Weird cranes.
Followed by he question how did the truck get there in that direction sitting on its wheels with no damage. There’s a massive wall behind it which it would have had to fly off of going nose down and obviously didn’t go over the bridge.
