I understand Brexit supporters nervousness at the prospect of being part of a larger, stronger European Union but how do they reconcile this with their nation (E, NI, S, W) being part of a bigger, stronger United Kingdom?

I don’t want to be in the EU at all full stop
I dont want to be in an EU especially wiv the Soviet Blox . But im kinda kool with Holland and Sweden and maybe Spain
And i certainly dont want to be in a UK wiv Scotland and bits of Ireland . But im chilled about Wales .
Hopefully the referendum will allow us to cut our selves free from the corpse that is EU …
And knock the UK on the head to give English people the things they want : independance and representation .

Not really .
The Scottish have their parliament . the poor old Welsh and NI have an ‘assembly’
The English have nothing .
Most of the Brexiters (farage Bogo etc) are unionists , and believe the tail wagging the dog is correct system .
The Scottish seem mad keen EUers , but may be supporting Brexit so they can claim England has acted against their wishes and therefore need another independance referendum . They think if they can get out EU , they can then get out UK and rejoin EU in next round of expansion with Turkey Ukraine Serbia Georgia etc .
All the while the English are not asked and ignored . if England had voted on Scottish independance they would be gone now and UK no more .
For people like me UK makes no sense , and we are fed up with subsidising Scotland and having a Government with them in , often acting against our interests .
If you are in North Wales then situation is different .
But welsh people are having no real say in Wales being members of EU, or indeed if they want independance .
Ideally England will exit EU , and UK , but english and Welsh will decide that we want to continue close relationship and co operation as independent countries
The mark of a true Nationalist is the respect of the nation state,national borders and the right of self determination for all.IE friends with fences.Anything else is just Federalist/Socialist tyranny masquerading under the banner of so called democracy and freedom.On that note proof that Hitler was no Nationalist.While the UK is actually just an alien concept imposed on the British Isles by the foreign ( French ) invasive regimes of the Conqueror and his Plantagenet successors etc.IE Edward 1 was no Englishman.
