Recommended gloves?

Any recommended waterproof gloves?? Dont mind paying a tidy price for them. After yesterdays weather i realise what a good pair of dry gloves can Make your day!

Just as good as a dry pair is a wet pair that have been sat in front of the night heater vents between drops. There’s enough heat to dry them out pretty quickly, and they’re lovely and toasty ready for the next rain-soaked venture out of the cab…

Haha i was trying my best yesterday inbetween drops they were proper soaked through and all drops were real close. As long as i can keep my hands dry im happy.

Waterproofâ– â– ? For gods sake man they wont be handing you a Yorkie bar anytime soon

Your employer should be providing PPE, so FFS don’t post this on the main forum or all hell will break loose!
Full waterproof gloves have less feeling and dexterity than a condom, so I prefer not to go there…
When working in wet weather with buckles I found that gloves with a rubber palm/face and a cotton or woven back were the best.

Now stop being a wimp and man up! :grimacing:

Thats the kind i wear.

Aldi have then regularly, a 3 pack for £2.99. Excellent value! Especially if you have to get your own if your company only provide dayshift and not nightshift with gloves.

I use the yellow gardening gloves, they tend to get soaked when working in the rain or in the freezer for a prolonged period so I have taken to carrying 12 pairs around in my bag - which covers most the drops I do.

I do tend to get some strange looks when my bag is searched at work though.

I knew id get some funny comments you bag of â– â– â– â– â– â– â–  I just thought there might actually be a decent pair of gloves which stay dry. Il try those gloves Evil worth a try, do get soaked most days down in the valley see! :stuck_out_tongue:

Hi, I use these gloves. Thermal lined and completely waterproof. Relatively hard wearing for the price.
