There is a shortage because the stuff is all being exported to meet our UN developing country redistribution responsibilities and they can see more profit in flogging electricity to the mugs than oil.
They are just blaming it all on missing truck drivers who are supposedly either sitting in a cafe refusing to work or retired and laying on a beach somewhere in the Bahamas drinking their beer of choice.

To be fair I’ve never claimed for DLA and I signed off UC before it drove me into bankruptcy and I was working up to the point when the firm sacked me on H and S grounds, after they’d wrecked my back by using me as a warehouse labourer, with termination of employment not my resignation letter, to prove it.
I’ve also been doing some car driving trade plate work but far too many younger healthy people who should/would be driving trucks want to do it because they don’t want to end up in a similar situation as I did.

Simply company want increase own sale.They every years from April till November talk about empty Chreistmas shelf.To many people run to supermarket,buy chocolate,busquit,frozen food for Christmas.After one week ready all was eaten,go again and again.Why growing companies like Lidl,Aldi,B@Q,B@M or heave haulage,car transporter not moaning??Become no point for this,they have good sale,any panic not increase sale for them
