it boils my blood when the car drivers keep there fog light on during a downpour … christ , if you can see the car in front of you’s tail lights that means the other drivers can see yours ,so why do they find the need to cause even more bother with the glare of them in a heavy spray, beyond me !!!

maybe not, if the vehicle behind is a truck with frilly curtains, spanish bullfighter spears, and assorted cuddly toys in the screen driven by an ageing lorryist with defective vision and dirty glasses :slight_smile:

It’s a law which the average motorist is ignorant to.

Another little known law which makes it compulsory for driver’s of commercial vehicles over 7.5t to sound their horn in a long uninterrupted blast when passing lay bys full of caravans between the hours of 00.00-06.00.

Coming up the M74 last night around 8pm in very heavy rain up ahead i could only see the spay from cars it was like the cars were invisible one car had rear fog lights on so the do help with being seen in heavy spray but again the usuall beemer drivers belting up the road at break neck speeds tailgating the cars in front
