For years I have had the dream of living on a converted coach or bus, I think I could have a 2 bed roomed self catering unit with washing machine and dishwasher, air conditioning and central heating, all new fit kitchen and 2 en-suite bathroom for about 10k.
But the thing that always stopped me was finding an income whilst I live on it.
Now thereās plenty of agency work,
Then I thought if I get 2 and me and our lass drove them to Kefilonia and hired one out as a 2 bed travelling unit that collected you and up to a max of 6 then take you where you want on the island? Little fishing village main town somewhere livly and I would take you there< in your home. If it turns out too quiet then you could have it moved. All for about £500 a week.
Live cheap in the other and have a 6 month holiday in grease where they filmed mama mai
in the winter bring them home and do same round Scotland
I heard of a bloke who did that at a company I worked for in Demark.
If you think how awful parking up in the UK can be I couldnāt really see it as a viable option here. Not unless you are the kind of person who keeps a horse on a rope?
Good luck anyhow, especially for when you get to āGreaseā.

Iāve known you for long enough to know that youāre definitely mad.
But that aside, getting a bus thatās going to be reliable enough to drive all the way to Greece is surely going to be hard work for your 10k, and thatās without the cost of conversion.
Paul I have just looked round some older buses and coachās in a yard in hull. He just bought them for 3.5k and is putting them into service on a school run. Also if Iām running two down Iām sure Iād manage
What a way to goā¦yeah its a great ideaā¦buy a bus/coach, convert it, and travel and see the world getting jobs along the wayā¦failing thatā¦buy an old bus/coach put a nice double bed in it etcā¦hire a couple of old slappers, and go touring around the service areas, both here and abroadā¦what a way to goā¦ha ha

Running a couple of snotters around a couple of estates for kids to destroy aint quite like jumping out of the fire and into the frying pan to go down to grease,
Whoās gonna drive the other, John Travolta?

You see
Iāve seen them converted like thisā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦
