Great old pictures John. 
I used to load crude benzole out of the by-products plant at Stanton and Staveley Ironworks in the 60s.We had to weigh in and then drive all the way round through Ilkeston and go in the back way to the ovens and you had to shunt to get an 8-legger off the main road into the works,a real pig until the layout was altered.
