Often see drivers heading home in their own cars with their hi viz still on…
strange behaviour
Yeh because driving their trucks whilst wearing their hi viz ain’t strange behaviour in the slightest.
If you are doing multidrop why go to the hassle of taking it off and on again, also when it’s a different truck each regularly would rather the hi viz be next to the seat than my clothes? But maybe that’s just me?
I often turn the wipers on as well as twisting the stalk to put it into gear. The most frightening is that if I don’t make an effort to watch my speed I settle at a sedate 56mph in the car without thinking about it.
The roof of my car sits about 4ft off the ground, yet I’m still very aware of low bridges when driving it. I’ve once or twice washed the windscreen when trying to change up a gear to (it’s a manual car).

I pulled into the works car park the other morning in my car, swung it at an angle so I could reverse into the spot on my good side, then instinctively reached for the R/H stalk to put it in reverse as I would if I was driving a Scania
I’ve been struggling to find reverse gear in my car recently having been driving a manual skip wagon. It’s to the right in my car and left in the wagon.
It makes a change from forgetting to change gear after driving autos.

Often get flashed back into lane when you pass an old boy doing 54 on mway, and I think to myself that will be best part of 50 odd years driving a wagon mentality, life in the slow lane
