Does this mean they are going to start giving away edible pigswill? If I had a choice I would want £100 just to use the tunnel.

You have to be very lucky and hit the train at exactly the right time to make it worthwhile. There are no facilitys, From leaving the M20 to Joining the Motorway in France can take as long or even longer than a ferry.

At least on the ferry you have chance to walk around instead of being collected by a bus from the cab door. You have time for a decent meal, a chat, a coffee and a shower. Then you can get a beer at the bar!

i agree malc
euro tunnel ■■■■■
give me the ferry anyday
taking the car abroad again next year ,went on the net for a quote, looked on p&o and sea franceand checked the tube out of interest, tunnel was twice as much as the ferry,no wonder they are in the mire
as you said they would have to pay me to use it
jon

JB try Norfolkline 4 the car jollie.
Last time i took a 7.5 tonner over they were 1/2 the price of Puffs Only.

And of course the best ferry company is Sea France, (Grovel, Grovel)

Except, I mean it :stuck_out_tongue:

IMHO, of course

norfolk line all the time, chunnel are out the door with their prices,i been there in the truck also.when grub was free and we never ate it anyway, and now with our cars they want
us to pay to go to france!!!
and pay for food!!!.goodbyy tunnel.the ship is not any longer timewise anyway, all the times,i spent waiting on a sunday afternoon to get across, the channel tunnel is a load of crap/

I don’t and won’t use the tunnel at all ever since I had a massive row with them and was escorted out of the terminal by Kent Police a few years ago. I’m not banned I just refuse to use it and there treatment of drivers ■■■■■ as well. Ferry every time for me.

Got a return crossing for my motorhome with www.speedferries.com for £88.

This is the fast ferry from Dover to Boulogne.

The vehicle must not be over 6.5 metres long and 2.9 metres high. No trailers/caravans are allowed.

I booked on line and it beat all other crossings hands down.

Safe travelling

Don

Waiting for the ferry in Boulogne

It,ll be ok for the holidays for truckyboy and jonboy though

very good don madge,i just had a look at speed ferries, got a return for a week at the end of july for me and other half in the car for 50pd,also if you check norfolk line it will be 100pd for a return, the channel tunnel and the p and o stenna mafia must be losing out now,i hope, they had it good enough for long enough.
