The legality or otherwise of fitting second hand/used brake pads/discs isn’t the reason for the review of the topic.
The review decided that there were unsubstantiated allegations of a fairly serious nature that were potentially libellous, so as the platform responsible for publishing the topic we had no choice under our rules than to take it down.
This topic won’t be coming back, but anybody can post a new topic and discuss the merits of new Vs. used as long as they don’t post an allegation containing a company’s name.
