We have removed the rumour posts- according to a Birds spokesman as of this time the firm remains family owned- they did insinuate that some discussions are ongoing but not with the company itself that has been mentioned(Montgomery)- but possibly with the owners/major shareholders of that company(Ballyvesey). this is obviously a sensitive time for the company and as such we will remove any gossip or rumour until anything concrete emerges.
