You can pay back the time from a reduced weekly rest en-block by adding that time to a daily rest before having the next weekly rest (which must be a full weekly rest) but paying back the time does not make the reduced weekly rest into a full weekly rest.
Reduced weekly rest of 40 hours leaving 5 to pay back
14 hours off between shifts during the week = Reduced daily rest of 9 hours + 5 hours payback

I think he knows that, he’s saying its wrong !!!
He had me going , I started to think that I was wrong,dont think I will be able to talk him round…perhaps vosa will convince him when his time comes
