Razr to Blackberry

Do any of the massive have any idea how to transfer my contacts please?

From a Motorola Razr V3 on Orange to a Blackberry Curve on Virgin

I have tried all the normal tricks that work on a Nokia, to no avail.

:bulb: :exclamation:

Make sure your contacts are stored on the sim card and not on the phone memory. Should be something in the settings that will be store on sim, phone or sim and phone.

Done that but the SIM & phones are locked to operator, so will not read each other’s SIM

Trying to do it without paying, obviously :stuck_out_tongue: (Yorkshire)

I wish you luck! Best way would probably be to just get the blackberry unlocked (about £10-£20) at a market stall type phone accessories place. The sim should then work in it.

^^^ This. Get the phone unlocked then you can put your old sim in it and get the numbers from it transferring the numbers from sim to phone. then you can do whatever you wish to the old sim card. Then when you put the new sim in, bobs your uncle all your numbers will be there

Or if you’re wanting to show true yorkshire colours and be really cheap and add the contacts one by one, Takes a while but least you wouldn’t have to pay nothing

Cheers

get a gmail account, sync contacts from razor to gmail account, then install google app to blackberry and sync blackberry to gmail account.
all contacts including email and phone numbers should then be on bb

Anyway, a Blackberry is a bit hi-tech for you Malc. :open_mouth: I’d have expected to have had a Nokia 3310. :stuck_out_tongue:
