When he first opened in Manchester he used to come in an American Motor Home which he parked in the yard in Trafford Park,no fancy hotel bills for Ray.

And still was upto early part of this year , he would tour his depots in the motor home

When I worked for him a certain family member told me that . " him and the mrs didn’t get on and that’s where he lived"

Ray Keedwell 1 JUNE 1942 – 29 JUNE 2017

It is with great sadness we announce the death of our founder and Chairman, Ray who passed away after a short illness.

Ray founded the business in 1969, running two trucks from his home, and built today’s UK-wide operation, which employs 610 people, running 460 trucks from 10 locations.

The Funeral will take place at Sedgemoor Crematorium on Friday 14th July @ 5.00pm and afterwards at Rookery Manor. This is a celebration of Ray’s life and achievements – dress code blue tie, dresses or blouses.
