, and I aint female, but obviously not as butch, strong, and manly as you busby, but hey who knows…maybe one day
, I wait in hope.

OK mate but I think you will find it’s actually a COMMA, not a COMMOR, but not only am I not as good as tightening ratchets as you, I am not too dexterous on the computer either, but as you can see from this post, I have taken your advice and am now using the apostrophe as opposed to the COMMA, so Thanks for that guidance.
Incidentally I don’t (did you notice ) know why we bother anyway, there are a lot on here that think a comma is a mild curry

At least I wasn’t (see ) as pedantic and arsey to point out that it should be AN apostrophe, not A apostrophe, or you would think I was a right smartarse, Dammit I just have
And I thought this thread was about ratchet straps
I always used a tyre lever…
When they tighten the ratchet strap up BY HAND at our place , some people manage to pull the rail off the side of the box!!.

That’s ( see what I did there) because they are not putting the strap far enough forward before tightening it up. Always at least one cage length or 2 feet / 60 cm forward of the back of the load to be strapped .
If you need to use a lever you need more straps . If the tension on the straps will not hold the load you need more straps rather than overtighten the ones that are already there .
some loads need to have the straps tighter than u can get them ,it doesnt matter how many straps you put on.
You can either use the extended handles suggested or some sort of bar which ive always used and never had any problems!

You will be the one with the problem when the ratchet slips or breaks, they are not designed to be forced like that, even with normal ratchets you can get the strap as tight as a drum, the extra leverage is just not required.

I`m thinking kronospan type boards here?
The pull down ratchet seem good, can get the straps tighter than the normal ratchet handle.
