Rank hovis barry wales

HI ALL
i drew bulk flour from here to ireland for12 years I finished in 1993 is it still going or what happening there They were
a great bunch of lads to work with especially the lads in the garage

The mill is still going, although given modern times the opening hours are antiquated to say the least. Not sure about the workshop staff though.

Hi micowe welcome to the forum, Barry docks has changed a hell of a lot, part of the Atlantic mill was torn down in the early 90’s, John T. Evans Transport moved into the workshops but went past the other day and there were different companies in there, Geest + Pioneer cement + rentco trailers + M & G + Denholm Shipping have all gone, P.M. Rees, S & K, Samat ( formaly Barry Road Transport ) G.H. Moreton ( not sure how many lorries they have now ) are all still there, anyone remember Jackson he had 2 Leyland Roadtrains & Scania

BRT have moved over to Cardiff Dock now!

I believe the transport and most of the mill is now run by DHL!
