Thieves are said to be “made up” with their haul
Here’s a thought:
For each box of genuine E.L. stuff knocked out in pubs and boot-sales dozens of crates of cruddy copy stuff will be sold, as punters think they are buying cheap genuine, but will be buying fake at inflated prices.

S’pose they could complain afterwards?
“I thought I was buying stolen goods officer, but I was swindled”!
A representative from ebay commented ‘we look forward to increased sales in the cosmetics category’.
