George Allinson is having a tough time, lost Hydro (Sapa) aluminium at Birtley too. Has he lost Radius at Aycliffe?

Seen a few Georege Allinson while I’ve been down Kent and Essex last few days, do they do ouwt down that way?

The ones that are sweepin the uk takin an tyin up all the jobs/contracts. NORBERTS take over in around 6 wk. Another job gone to rat ■■■, a good friend of mine is in their, not sure if he is goin to fill the forms in an send em in Nd or pack up.

I know the hydro work is been dine by downtons don’t know the reasons behind it though…
They seem to take a quite a bit of work now from the smaller hauliers.

Hydro Aluminium have been taken over by Sapa, who already use Downtons.

I live in south normanton,and my friend works for uponor/du pont/radius…or what ever they call it now.
He was promoted approx 2 years ago,and his remit was to save the company money.
He asked me at the time,if i thought there was a way to cut costs on transport.
I said "no"coz they use specialized trailers that are unusable for backloads…therefore you will allways be paying top wack.
