For years i shunned Radio one in favour of Radio two.
But that daft Welsh allotment gardiner put an end to that.What a pratt.
Steve Wright singing and talking all over the songs.Nail in the coffin for me.
Jeremy Whine.What suits him for a debate.The angry trucker and the pish lady having a slagging match.
Now it is Radio One for call or delete,pranking famous people from their contact list on their phone.
And innuendo bingo.Very funny and good fun.
The clubbing tunes get turned up full blast on a Friday night.Pete Tong.
The tunes on Radio Two were getting boring.
Radio Berkshire is very good with Mike Reid and Anne Diamond.
Don’t know how anyone could listen to radio 2. Its music is all over the shop not to mention dull as dishwater presenters.
Radio 1 for me too but nothing will ever beat the old Atlantic 252 even if it did have a dodgy reception. The formula was perfect

I have to agree about radio 2. the only good player on it now is Alex The dark lord Lester.

Radio Luxembourg,that was good.Had to mention Vanessa Feltand her habit of joining together three or four long words in one sentence to make herself appear clever.
But Chris Evans on R2 does get you going in the morning with his good mood outlook.
I can see the point of a live broadcast from an allotment in Wales.
Why do most female presenters on most stations always vo on about their kids.Just play the music love,we aint interested if Joshua and Jane have ear infections and can not swim today.
Got to agree with you Toby, I used to love Radio 1 in the late 60’s, 70’s,80’s & 90’s but drifted to radio 2 for the last few years, now with its ‘Love to hear their own voice’ presenters, the same tired old music (not to mention that they keep cutting the classics short, very rarely play Freebird or Stairway to the end, Grrrr !) I do tend to listen to R1 for some of the day.
I noticed ny energy levels increased when had R1 on.The upbeat music and chat.
R2 was making me drowsy.
Dev knows about tachos and breaks.Decode the cargo.Guess the load early in the morning.

As mentioned Atlantic252, awesome. My fave now is Jack fm but can only get it certain places. Every morning I start with Alex Lester but as soon as the 5am news comes on I hit the search button, but what I have noticed is that without fail every time I scan past Radio 2 that bloody Feltz woman is talking! Does she ever play any music?

Alantic252 now that was a radio station, radio luxembourg on 1440 mw is where i first heard chris moyles on the radio.
Alantic252 freqency is now an irish radio station which can hav some interesting debates on it about irish life, the irish n the eu etc.
for me i was a big moyles fan and then they got that numpty in so now my daily listen goes like this, dark lord on r2, dev radio 1, pop master every day r2 then i go to 6 music until scott mills and chris stark, then back to 6 music or planet rock, and sometimes zane lowe, may talk to quickly but he is a genuine music fan
Had my dab radio through yesterday, going to give 6 music a whirl. Heard good things about Sean Keaveney, and who can’t like Radcliffe and Maconie.
Will still have the Dark Lord on though.
It’s Vanessa Feltz that’s put the tin hat on it. First of all it was all about her kids (daughter the elder and the younger…WTF■■?)
Then it was daughters wedding.
Then the pregnancy. And now the child.
We have no know what she had for dinner, what she watched on tv.
And to top it all, after she’s been on for an hour of her ninety minutes, we have to have a bloody "potted history of the show thus far"and hear her crap all over again.
I never used to mind Jeremy Vine, now it’s just chewing gum for the ears. I think I go into a numb-mind trance, couldn’t tell you a single topic he discussed this week.
That Radcliffe and maconie do my swede in, reminds me of a poor mans mark and lard, or moyles and comedy Dave,
