Well it was sitting at 1250rpm on the limiter and tbf I put 120ks on a brand new lowride 105 and although I was on light work that still got exceptional mpg.
Gotta remember that they compensate little wheels through the diff ratio

Indeed, but that will only work as long as you are keeping it under 30t. As soon as the weight starts to creep nearer 35t you will see your fuel consumption take a serious hit, I learned the hard way.
Incidentally, what was the deciding factor in buying a low-rider? Do you really need the small amount of extra cube that a mega trailer provides?
Yes, some of the work Iv been offered requires high cube trailers so a straightframe wouldn’t suffice, I weighed up a stepframe but came too the conclusion it would be to iffy for getting backloads so it comes down to ease of loading as much as cube required.
Il just have to wait and see what the mpg brings can’t be any worse than the gas guzzler I’m in now

hi im a o/d just sold a r560 and had a r500 before that .the 500 had a direct drive g/box 56mph at 1400rpm running h/cubes on containers fuel tank to tank average 7.5 to 8.0mpg.
7.5 to 8.0mpg is a range, an average mpg figure is one number, just saying
