Can anyone tell me how to replace/repair the locker cable on a 2013 R series Scania please. Doesn’t feel like it’s snapped when you pull it but perhaps they can become detached from the mechanism?

Yea had the same problem if you remove the silver plate in the locker it opens up the mechanism and usually what happens is the pin comes out from the catch just put it back in and if you glue it on it won’t come out again

Kind off you need to open the locker first witch is a pain in the ■■■ best tip is use a screwdriver and if there is another scania near you look at how the mechanism works and where you need to put the screwdriver

Scania now have a modified cable and pin arrangement out now to fix that problem. Don’t think it’s that expensive either.
