R.I.P. Mate......

A terrible accident that should not have happend. Barriers should be able to stop a truck from breaking through. The almost daily accidents up and down the country of trucks crossing the central resevation etc just should not be happening in 2005.

Our thoughts and sympathy to the driver, his family and friends.

Hearing about this really made me sit back and think…  :frowning: :frowning:

That poor poor driver…

Symapthies to this drivers family AND all the others who have been killed in this recent bad weather…

Luv
Chrisie… :sunglasses:

My symapthies to his family and friends, and i’ll second what Ragtop said my symapthies to all the other drivers who have also been killed    R.I.P

An absolutely horrific accident. Rest in peace mate and sympathies to the family and friends.

Very sad news.

My deepest symapthies to his family and friends, and my
deepest symapthies to all the other drivers who have also
been killed.

R.I.P

Could have happened to anyone. Exposed bridge, high winds, the wind just picked him up and tossed him off the bridge, there was nothing he could have done about it. Another one gone  Sympathies to the family and friends. Keep it safe out there. Don’t want to hear about any of you lot suffering the same fate, I can’t afford the plane fares to come to any funerals.

There is actually an enquiry under way as to why the Foyle bridge was not closed. Any wind over 50 ( I may be wrong) and they have to close the bridges. Deepest sympathies to the family of this poor unfortunate driver, who was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Bigtruck, it wasnt a Mulgrew unit, he was working for a subby, but Dermy Mulgrew was on talking about the tragedy on UTV live.

Regards
