If it is,is he still about? a mate of mine works for him and he’s only got a plain daf 95.Not like the usual stuff he used to have.

roy gill is still about and he,s got a fare few motors and not all of them get the custom jobs done on them .roy and sarah now run the peak truck show events around the uk and dont seem to bother customising there own motors anymore

hi, just quick post to say that defo aint a roy gill ex motor, the company is painting there motors in the same livery as his.
sorry mate your 100% wrong ,its a owner driver called micky young that is gills ex p reg 144 he bought it from him about 6 years ago. how do i know this? he’s a family friend.

Yep it is R D Gills old motor,was a 460 now turned up to 530,has a very nice airbrush on the back of his old motors 141-144 which Mark has added,all the interior is painted by Haydon Autospray who also paint Sharps,Coles motors.
Mark has the motor parked in Romford at a place i tip regular and see him quite a bit,i have a conection with that motor as i used to drive it for R D Gill
well i work for him now and he says it aint his lol 
said the 2 scaina’s that he did have where both sold to guys in ireland!

that aint no p reg scania it’s got a differant grill to the 96=97 model just look at the pics you could fill it with water without lifting grill on early model 4 series.unless he’s changes the grill.
I remember him having two 4 series, one was a 144 and the other a 124?

Evening all i also thought it was an ex gills unit. 530power please give my regards to Mick next time you see him. I used to park in the same yard at West Thurrock 1st my lhd141 then ex Hercocks 112 then a new 420 eurostar in Maritime name and colours when they had eurotechs finishing with a 113. I t hink then he had started to park at Tilbury. anyway each truck has dozens of stories, i need to see if i can find a photos . where, up in the loft of course. Regards TJ.
