Got a 12:00 booking there tomorrow. Are they on the dot or not fussed? Take it it’s keys out, waiting room kind of thing?
12.00 is on the bay time or it’s naughty step
Oh right.
The naughty step will be me driving off with their stuff then…
I doubt anyone will be religiously enforcing delivery times this week, most will be just glad to get their stuff.
Many moons ago I fetched a trailer load of computers and stuff from Munich to Telford in the type of weather we have seen this week.I arrived 10 mins.after booking time(15.10)and was turned away. The manager sent the young office girl to tell me.I think he slept in his office that night.
Sounds fun anyway. On instructions it’s got a 12:15 delivery - driver must arrive at 12:00
Nowt like a bit of leeway is there

Friday isn’t the day to mess about. Tuesday would’ve been fair game though

We have found the opposite in the last 24 hours, plenty seemed quite peeved that we had the temerity to turn up in this weather…
Over 300 miles to one place in Cornwall, and they refused it on H&S grounds, because they hadn’t cleared their own yard
Funnily enough I’m expecting this to be turned away because they’ve ordered 550 of something but there’s 552 on the back

In days gone by, they would sign the paperwork as 550 received, and leave the “extra” two on board, this then would be your bunce…as long as you had not signed for 552 that is…

Nuff said
Arrived 11:45, left at 12:15 so not bad at all for 44 pallets
Pity it wasn’t prime sirloin steak, a couple of spares would have gone down nicely on a Friday
